Hi, my name is Kyanne Cumming, and I’m the Service Director at Little Buckets St James.

My journey in early childhood education began just two years ago, starting as an Educator before stepping into the roles of 2IC, Coordinator, and now Service Director. Even in a short time, this field has become a true passion of mine, and it continues to inspire me every day.

I have a strong love for teaching and guiding others, which is why I’m currently working toward my degree in Secondary Education. Learning and growing alongside children and educators is something I value deeply.

Creativity and relationships are at the heart of my practice. I enjoy designing experiences that centre on children’s needs. Creating spaces where they are free to explore, create, and feel genuinely supported. I believe every child deserves a safe environment where their needs are met and where they are free to discover who they are.

As someone who has lived in Australia all my life, I understand the importance of feeling safe and included. I strive to ensure every child and family experiences that same sense of comfort and belonging within our service.

Little Buckets St James is a special place. Our focus on community and open communication helps us create an environment where children, families, and educators feel heard, valued, and welcomed. It’s a centre built on trust, collaboration, and genuine care.
